Personal Financial Management (PFM)

On November 1, 2002 Army Emergency Relief (AER) awarded a sole source contract to San Diego City College to teach Personal Financial Management at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. After 4 years of field testing, and intense reviews by AER, the Army and AER asked San Diego City College to provide training services in Personal Financial Management to 13 additional Advance Infantry Training (AIT) bases across the United States, commencing April 1, 2007. To date, Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX; Corry Station, Pensacola, FL; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, MD; Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC; and Fort Benning, Columbus, GA are established.

In January 2008 San Diego City College will add three more bases, Fort Lee, Richmond, VA, Fort Eustis, Newport News, VA and Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, AZ.

Mr. Roland "Ron" Jaeh Contract Training Manager Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC), Center for Information Dominance, Corry Station, FL Ron joined SDCC in July 2001 after serving 39 years active duty with the U.S. Navy. He was an enlisted sailor for 10 years advancing to the rank of Senior Chief. He received his commission through the Navy’s Chief Warrant Officer Program, ultimately retiring as a “LDO” Captain. In his last assignment he served as Commanding Officer, Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, FL. Ron has over 15 years of Navy schoolhouse management experience and often says it is a “true honor and privilege to continue to work with our country’s most important asset – our men and women in uniform.” He is currently the Dean in Pensacola, FL, managing select schools at NATTC Pensacola and other schools at the Center for Information Dominance, Corry Station, Pensacola. He also manages Personal Financial Management (PFM) Training at NTTC Meridian, MS, CSFE Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX and Army PFM at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. Ron is a car enthusiast and his pride and joy is a pristine 1990 Nissan 300ZX that is a frequent winner at Gulf Coast Car Shows. He also enjoys physical training and has completed (6) 26.2 mile marathons. He is a Navy Master Training Specialist and holds a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management.
