Dr. Curtin,
I’m writing you today to express my greatest gratitude toward your employee Drew Kroft. I had one DSST exam left to complete in order to fulfill my bachelors degree requirements with Excelsior College. This exam was scheduled to be taken last Wednesday at Mr. Krofts Miramar testing facility. Unfortunately the on-line testing program was down due to a DSST encryption program upgrade which was not allowing some of the testing sites proctors to authorize testing. What makes my situation unique is I was scheduled to deploy on my ship May 4th, , so you could imagine the importance of this exam. Mr. Kroft literally did everything in his power to communicate and troubleshoot both ends of the testing facilities to try and reach a resolution ending with the ability to proctor an exam for me before I deployed. Not only did he show genuine concern for my given situation, Mr. Kroft came into work on two of his off days trying to make ends meet for me. This whole situation ended with Mr. Kroft being able to proctor a paper copy of the exam to me on Saturday May 3rd, right before I deployed. I am bringing this to your attention simply to commemorate the effort and sincere concern Mr. Kroft has given me enabling the completion of my exam. When Employees go above and beyond their job duties like Mr. Kroft did for me, they shouldn’t go unnoticed. Thank you Dr. Curtin for providing the highest standard in customer services for military personnel like myself. Please express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Kroft!
Very Respectfully,
ET2(SW) Dhondt, Scott A.
